After another busy weekend at the Hunter Valley Caravan Camping 4WD Fish and Boat show we would like to thank everyone who came to the show and had a look over our campers. Thankfully the weather held out for us and there were so many people through the gates.
It was great to see so many of our customers and hear their tales of adventure and which parts of the country our camper trailers have been to since we last caught up.
We released our all new tray back slide on camper for the public to look over, we are extremely pleased with the feedback and i will hopefully be able to post some photos up on the blog before the weekend. Thats if it stops raining and i can get out and take some!
In the meantime please dont hesitate to come past the factory at West Gosford for a first hand look.
Cheers for now
Andrew

Easter 2011
After another Easter Longweekend has passed us by i dont think there were many Explorer Campers not out in use!
We have had customers down the south coast of NSW (kiwi Pete from ACT below on his way home), also Mid Nort Coast at Harrington & Crowdy Head, and quite a few west of the great dividing range near Bathurst and Sofala, those who managed to escape west managed to miss the rain that we experienced here on the Central Coast.
If you did have a wet Eatser camping trip dont forget to make sure everything is dry and clean before your store your camper in preparation for your next wekend escape
For those who are looking to head down to the Super show at Rosehill unfortunately you will not find us there this year but please dont hesitate to come in and see us before you go.
Cheers for now.

Wentworth Walk Up Camper Trailer
G'day,
As many of you who have been following the website would know we have been going to release our Wentworth walk up style camper trailer in March..... and its now April! We have been busy as we sold a Wentworth before we had an opportunity to show everyone, and you can now see some pics of Tim and Justina's new Wentworth. They have picked up their Wentworth and are about to head around Australia in a couple of days.
Before heading off around Australia they took their camper and did an off road four wheel drive cousre in Braidwood NSW and down to the beaches in Shoal Haven for some 4WD fun! Their Landcrusier and Explorer Camper trailer performed fantastically as we fitted their trailer out with Crusiemaster trailing arm independant suspension.
We will be offering the Wentworth with all the standard Explorer Campers and Canvas options that we offer in our standard style camper trailers, Tim & Justina opted for our 12ft size tent which gave them a massive 12ft x 9ft of floor space.
All Explorer Campers & Canvas Wentworth Walk Up Camper Trailers are manufactured to our extremely high standards using Australian Materials and Labour.
For more information please don't hesitate to contact us.

Easter is just around the corner
We have had a very busy run into easter again this year with several camper trailers being collected well before easter so that customers have been able to get away for a quick weekend camping trip before the big easter trip.
Several customers are looking at heading up the north coast (NSW) for 1 and 2 week school holiday trips while many more have been planning to head west for a easter long weekend holiday.
Over the easter longweekend Explorer Campers & Canvas will be closed but avaliable for appointments only.
We have also been busy with a couple local shows at Newcastle and Wollongong in February and March, both shows have been a great sucess and we are looking forward to heading up to Maitland in May for the Hunter Valley Caravan Camping Fish and Boat show,
Cheers for now

Mount Kaputar and Warrumbungles National Parks
It has taken a while to compose this blog, but as promised here are some photos of our trip to Mount Kaputar and Warrumbungles National Park.
Mount Kaputar was our first stop over and we spent 2 nights camped at Dawson's Springs camping area which was the perfect starting point for many of the walks on offer which include Mount Kaputar summit walk, Dawson's spring nature trail and Bundalla circuit the highlight was our Bundalla circuit walk when we had to take shelter in a tree to wait out a passing shower but the spectacular views on offer from the 3 lookouts made it worth while. We also drove over to Sawn Rocks which is located in the north part of the Park to see the amazing rock formation called organ piping.

Our next stop was Warrumbungles National Park http://www.environment.nsw.gov.au/NationalParks/parkHome.aspx?id=N0035
were we stayed at Camp Blackman which has 70 sites available and includes hot showers and flushing toilets. The camp is a short drive to the main walking tracks which vary in degrees of difficult and length. While we were there we completed Fans Horizon which has over 1000 steps and Goulds Circuit which provides views of the Breadknife. Unfortunately due to the limited amount of time we had out there we were unable to complete anymore of the 12 walks on offer but we will be sure to go back and try the Grand High tops circuit in the future along with visiting the Siding Springs Observatory located just outside the park.
